Calendar

Unless otherwise noted, all programs require registration. To sign up for a program, please call the library at 708-458-2880 x106 or sign up in person at the Youth Services desk. Some programs may be able to accommodate walk-ins; call the library for more information.

Please arrive on time for programs. If you arrive more than five minutes late for a program, your spot may be given to a child on the waiting list. If you know you're running late, just give us a call at 708-458-2880 x106 so we can hold your child's spot.

Program Descriptions

Weekly Programs

Baby Storytime
For children 18 months and younger, with a caregiver
Bring baby to the library for fun rhymes, songs, stories, and finger plays. There will be time to play and socialize for both baby and caregiver after. Bring a blanket or yoga mat, but no toys or snacks please!

Preschool Storytime

For children ages 3-5, with or without a caregiver
Looking for stories and crafts for your preschooler? Join us  for stories, nursery rhymes, coloring, crafts, and more.

Toddler Storytime
For children ages 18 mo.-2 years, with a caregiver
Toddlers and their caregivers will love learning nursery rhymes using our felt board! We will also have stories, coloring , puzzles,
and more.

Preschool Craft
For children ages 3-5, with a caregiver
Kids will make fun, simple crafts to take home.

Music, Movement, and More!
For children ages 3-5, with a caregiver
Looking to add a little music to your preschooler’s Friday morning? Kids will sing songs and do fingerplays, use musical instruments, and learn musical patterns, dances, and more!

K-2 Club

For children in grades K-2, with or without a caregiver

Want something fun to do after school? Bring your friends and join Miss Paula for stories, songs, and a special craft at the library.
